Welcome to Muggles and Magic Collide II

Before we begin, I would like to let you all know that you do not have to take 'Muggles and Magic Collide' in order to take this class. The difference between the two classes is simply the content.

If you would like to see what topics will be covered in the other class, Muggles and Magic Collide I, you can click here: https://wmmchol.wixsite.com/wmmc

All right, on we go.

My name is Zenix James and I would like to cordially welcome you to the class of Muggles and Magic Collide II, the sister class of Muggles and Magic Collide. (Go figure.)

For those of you who have already taken MMC I, if you'll be so kind as to bear with me as I explain the purpose of this class to our newest philosophers.

Over the centuries, non-magic folk and those of the Wizarding world have been living side-by-side; basically, next door neighbors. Those of which we refer to as 'muggles' (or people who do not posses the ability to perform magic) have been kept in the dark about the existence of wizards and witches and their magic, but many have wondered why that has been necessary over all of these years. What caused witches and wizards to create a secret world with an immense distrust and superiority complex over the muggle world? At the end of the term, that will be your conclusion to make.

Within this class we will discuss many various topics and theories as to why this has happened:

Overview:

Lesson One: The Evolution of Magic

Lesson Two: Blood Collision

Lesson Three: Muggles and Magic

Lesson Four: Making Magic

This is a brief overview of what I hope to teach you within this short semester. A large portion of this class will be critical thinking and truly analyzing and theorizing the logic of the world we have created. Sadly, we will not have the time required to go as in-depth as I would like, but we will attempt to graze the surface behind the vast encounters of Muggles and magic.

I truly hope you will enjoy this class as much as I do teaching it.
